A self-hosted application we built to run our own social media channels. It has no other users, no sign-up and no payments, and it never processes data belonging to anyone else.
Three steps, always in the same order.
We write and produce a short video — script, illustration, narration, editing — on our own machine.
The application uploads that finished video to our own channel accounts.
It reads the public statistics of those same posts so we can improve the next one.
The application is registered as the TikTok developer app Şevketin Dükkanı and connects to exactly one account we own — @sevketindukkani.
| Product | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Login Kit | We authorise our own TikTok account once, from the
internal panel. Redirect URI:
https://pusulahub.com/tiktok/callback/ |
| Content Posting API | Delivers our finished videos to that same account. |
| Scope | How it works in the application |
|---|---|
user.info.basic | Reads open_id and display_name to confirm the connected account is ours and to show connection status. |
user.info.profile | The panel shows the account's profile link, verified badge and bio, so we never publish to the wrong account. |
user.info.stats | Records our own follower count daily to draw a growth chart. |
video.list | Reads view, like and comment counts of our own posts for our analytics page. |
video.upload | Sends a finished video to our own inbox as a draft to review before posting. |
video.publish | Posts our finished video directly to our own account at its scheduled time. |
All content is produced by us and published only to accounts we own.
